Bits n Bobs

Bits n bobs is a very British phrase we use to mean things or objects of different kinds. Today, I have a few bits n bobs to tell you about 🙂

So firstly, I hope you have got 2025 off to a flying start and are feeling optimistic about the following ten months. What plans do you have? Will you be travelling? Learning a new skill or taking up a new hobby? Are you making improvements to your home or taking a long dreamed of holiday to a far off destination?  My plans are pretty loose at the moment, nothing concrete or set in stone, as we say.

Workshops

What I do know is that I have booked the Kulturní Dům (Arts & Culture Centre) in Nové Strašecí for two dates so far. The first is Wednesday 26th March and the second is Monday 28th April. I hope you can join me for an interactive English workshop evening. The themes of these workshops are yet to be decided but I will let you know ASAP. If you have a particular wish to repeat a previous workshop on either Phrasal Verbs, Pronunciation, or Idioms, please do let me know either by replying to this email or messaging me through Facebook. I have also planned something new around the themes of My English Journal, Speaking of which,,,

My English Journal

Now available in a number of outlets, so, if you haven’t already got your copy, or you wish to purchase a lovely gift for a friend you can do in the following places:

Help!

Should you or someone you know be looking for some part-time admin work, I have an opportunity to offer. In order to help me with the sales and marketing of My English Journal, Rich English Live workshops and a few other exciting tasks, I would like to hire someone local to Nové Strašecí for a few hours per week. Please get in touch if you or someone you know is interested. Thank you.

So, that brings to an end today’s communication. I hope you found the few bits n bobs I had to offer interesting. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below 🙂
